Bay of Pollenca

Due to the stable sea wind, generated by the mountain formation of the island Formentor and La Victoria and the scale of the bay, the Bahia de Pollenca (Bay of Pollenca), is known as the sailors and kiters paradise. This constellation ensures that there is rarely any swell and in the summer a perfect thermic wind. Here we are located pretty much on the northernmost point away from Palma, south of Alcudia and the Cap Formentor.

Whoever needs a little break from water sports or rather from kitesurfing on Mallorca, can find a beautiful little town in Pollenca with several restaurants, bars and art galleries. Additionally, there are many little places at the beach with picturesque knotty pine trees and plants reaching into the water, which offer time for quiet hours. A must see is also a trip from here on the impressive street to the spectacular Cap Formentor. No one should miss this view of the wonderful Mediterranean and the 200 meter steep cliffs.
